Updates on the Host Hotel Room Block at the

Madison Marriott West

Room availability for our event at the hosting hotel is rapidly decreasing, especially starting on Tuesday, 7/18. However, there are rooms available on Thursday, 7/13 through Monday, 7/17. More rooms will become available after Friday, 6/16, the due date for large groups payments. That is because any large group rooms canceled or reserved with an invalid credit card will become available to the small groups. No rooms will be added to large groups after Friday, 6/16. Only individual reservations will be made at the group rate until Friday, 7/23. These reservations will also be subject to the same cancelation policy, meaning once a reservation is booked, cancelation is not permitted without a penalty. Rooms cannot be reserved at the group rate after Friday, 7/23, they can only be reserved at the hotel’s ongoing rate at that time. Please continue to email Mr. Elgebaly at the hotel for your reservations, and he will inform you of the availability status.”

Adaptive Sports USA and USA Track & Field

Partner to Provide More Opportunities!

Adaptive Sports USA and Adaptive Track & Field USA (ATFUSA; formerly Wheelchair Track & Field USA) are pleased to announce the addition of USA Track & Field Para Junior Olympic athletes to the 2017 Junior Nationals event in Wisconsin in July.  Forming a partnership with Adaptive Sports USA, USA Track & Field (USATF) will work collaboratively to provide para-athletes from throughout the USA with an opportunity to compete in the finest competition possible.

Athletes will have the option of registering to compete in the Junior Nationals competition either through USAT&F for the Junior Olympics division or through Adaptive Sports USA through the Junior Nationals.  It will be important for athletes to research the registration pro's and con's for each organization, including the number of events, sports and the impact of team points for team awards. You can find more information regarding the USATF Junior Olympics opportunities at and more information on Athletics for Adaptive Sports USA members at the ATFUSA website at
